I hear what everyone is saying, but UA is TOUTING THEIR CARGO HANDLING, ESPECIALLY THE PET SAFE PROGRAM on this month's safety video. Talk about bad timing. For the record, I have an 11 y/o dog who has never flown. There are always circumstances that cause a pet owner to have to ship their pet, but I personally would only do it as a last resort. I also think a thorough review should take place at UA, and the degree of the negligence of the employee should dictate the punishment.
