Did BA do this a LONG, long time ago?

Hi all,

I just had a quick question--I did a little search but couldn't find anything definitive, and didn't want to crawl through countless trip reports from years ago

I remember distinctly, perhaps 10 years ago, I flew BA on a LHR-GLA segment in Y. My family and I were awed that they served breakfast (omelette, sausage, etc.) on china. We were pleasantly surprised and since then (even though I don't fly BA ever) we've always had a good impression of BA.

Did BA used to do that, if anyone can remember?
If so, when did they discontinue that? I have to apologize for not keeping up on my BA news, it's been awhile.

Thanks!
