I've said this before, but the cabanas are great for people flying from the US West Coast through LHR to other destinations. I always book one for 4 hours immediately upon arrival in order to shower, change clothes, and watch a few British sit-coms. I then go out to the lounge for 2 or 3 hours for dinner/drinks before my onward flight to the Middle East. I am not sure why one would book a cabana if he/she weren't transiting from one long-haul to another. Seems rather pointless because they are rather basic with a chaise lounge, TV, small table and toilet/shower facilities - oh, and the requisite artificial orchid!
