i'm actually not so sour about old 777-300 J. Yes they are 3rd generation older "sofa" type of seat. However I did find them rather comfortable to sit on for short (say 3 hours flight). You kind of "sink in" to the seat which doesn't happen in the new cirrus nor older olympus long-J seats. I guess perfect bed can't be perfect sofa and vice versa.

only problem I have with older 777 regionla J is the lack of AVOD and crappy PTV which I wouldn't even gift to my worst enemy.
