That being said, as an EXP, I have yet to SDC and clear an upgrade. Came #1 on the list once though.
This week I SDC'd and was #1 on TWO flights...and neither cleared. And both were showing A1 until the last minutes. Arrgh.
Back on topic, I've had an agent clear me early with a boarding pass while on standby, then when I asked to be put on the upgrade list, he said the computer would not let him.
