CX regional J: good service but a threadbare 773

Flew TPE-HKG on a 773 yesterday in regional J. The service was good and the food and cocktails were very nice...but the 773 was rather threadbare. I can understand 772s looking like this but the 300s are more recent and it needs an update.

If I compare SQ regional J with CX regional J, with SQs blue-config older 772, SQ is still a better experience.
