Mini J on 330, is it for Crew or Passengers...?!

On a recent trip to LHR on a 330 the plane was configured upfront 2-2-2- and then the Mini J just 2 rows behind the galley...

Well...when we boarded the J cabin was not full, I had a empty seat next to me and the and so did some of my fellow passengers...
My first thought was nice, spread out get some sleep.

As soon as the seat belt sign was off the IC was walking up and down counting the seats....shortly after that he brought all the Mini J pax up front, clearing the Mini J...I lost my empty seat and so did everyone else....
Not that I mind having having anyone sit beside me....

Later I went to the bathroom to see that the Mini J was now a rest area for the crew....They were in there, seats back TV on relaxing...that pissed me right off....

The service was okay, the normal 2 hours was down to 1 hour, this was so they could rest....
What got me was the guy next but one, who had been brought forward snored his way through the whole flight...very loudly...
At one point I was up in the galley asking if the FA could do something about it...I was told to give him a knock...which I did on more than one occasion...all that did was have him move for a second then back to his snoring.!

I think the FA's sensed I was not a happy camper with the results of them clearing the Mini J for their own purpose....I took my digital camera up to snap a picture of them sleeping and resting for future use....

This obviously upset them as I was told not to use the camera onboard as it interferes with the pilot ( what a crock of $hit that is).

Funny part was we had the same crew back and they tried to do the same, the IC counted the pax and tried to move them, This would have meant splitting people up and I don't think he got away with it with the Mini J pax...

If he had I would have moved to the Mini J myself and told him to take a hike.
Is this normal?...is this policy?...

I think its very annoying of them....the crew where not the best...not one of them smiled on both flights, except for uncle Sylvester once or twice....
