Obviously Chase thinks cost to dispute > just paying you off.

I thought we weren't here for handouts, we were here to get at the thieving Chinese banks. What's this, getting your share of TARP back?

If you knew this was going to happen in advance, you shouldn't use Chase going forward. Use card from a bank you know will actually dispute, even if it takes some trial and error to find out which.
Then again, some of the banks that dispute give me a hard time.
(How many txns are you disputing, sir? As I will only do this once every 2 weeks of I have to)
