To each their own but I would never do this.
Hilton CDG is a fine airport hotel but a poor base for a multiple night stay in Paris. All in, you'll spend most of two hours a day getting into and back from the city, and going back to CDG after a late dinner has its challenges. A big factor to me is not having a way to go back to my hotel room to rest for a while during the day. And, as Happy points out, absent passes, it is over $20 a day per person RT to/from Paris.
Sometimes less is more.
