Why do these employees feel entitled to any gratuity?

We do not tip first class flight attendants, and they make SIGNIFICANTLY less than amtrak employees, and they actually have to perform many additional duties above being food/bev servers, such as mandatory safety responsibilities for which they are TRAINED.

Am I wrong in estimating the amtrak servers make between $23 and $30 an hour, plus full generous benefits and other union perks?
