Often the urge to post seems to be inspired by the need to complain or moan. To try and balance this a little I want to record a positive encounter with the UK call centre. Unfortunately a pre-booked trip has had to be cancelled at the last minute and replaced by a new booking. This will include the opportunity to try both EK and QF A 380s in F in quick succession so there is some consolation

I was unable to select seats for the QF leg or make car bookings related to that leg on the EK website and had a an extremely helpful converstation with an agent who reviewed everything efficiently and in a way that sounded friendly and interested.
Not much to ask but made all the difference after a difficult day rearranging plans for unwelcome reasons.
