To save up enough miles you need to fly quite a bit.
With SQ you won't be able to get Avios, period. There are credit cards though that will credit Avios for your purchases.
You might also want to check out other ways of getting to Vegas if you do end up collecting enough miles on SQ or another *A FFP. You could get there on UA for instance.
