Can you request wheelchair service thru your airline? They would take you from checkin to your gate. You'd get thru immigration faster too.
I think the OP was referring to arriving in HKG. Anyway, one of my elderly relatives did this 2 years ago (arriving on Air NZ) in order to jump the queue (as most of the group had no HKIDs), but it backfired as they only allowed 1 person to accompany her. The rest had to line up with the other visitors
