They have cancelled one of the two daily flights between Doha and Hong Kong all of a sudden. Passengers booked on the cancelled flights are simply pushed to the later flight with no regard of their connections (I now have a MINUS 190 minute connection at Doha) and QR has done NOTHING, other than notify the travel agent and asking people to get a full refund. Travel agent now trading angry exchanges over the phone with the Territory Manager in Hong Kong to sort this out. Suffice to say this is not a pleasant experience.

Really wish I can fly EK instead, but unfortunately they don't fly to the destination that I am going to. (Doing open jaw - and unfortunately only QR flies to/from both destinations.) Toying with the idea of a 19 hour stopover in Doha (from 0500 to 0155 the next day and spending some time in the city, though would end up having two nights on a plane with no sleep), or flying on EK, but having to deal with a domestic flight in the country where I am going. Not really having much faith with QR at this point.

Thank goodness I bought the ticket through a travel agent. Can't imagine what would happen if I bought the ticket online....
