I am an Air Canada pensioner and the bottom line is all the stakeholders pretty much have to support the Companys position. To do otherwise would force the airline into bankruptcy and we would end up with pennies on the dollar if anything. The sad part about the unions is they bucked the Company desire to switch new employees to a DC plan which would have helped as far back as the exit from CCAA
