Received the following response from customer relations to my above complaint:

Dear Mr. XXXXX:
Thank you for contacting Customer Relations at US Airways regarding your travel from XXXXX to XXXXXXX on March 10, 2013. I apologize this experience with our airline was not satisfactory and appreciate your bringing this incident to our attention.

Contrary to the behavior you witnessed, our Flight Attendants are trained to be sensitive and attentive to the needs and concerns of our customers. Given your description, this employee’s actions were not reflective of our commitment to providing quality customer care. It is very important we create a positive, lasting impression with our customers.

The details you have provided will be instrumental in helping us improve our service. I have documented your experience for review by the relevant supervisory staff and appropriate Inflight Manager. Additionally, this incident will be discussed with the employee and handled internally.

Mr. XXXXXX, we believe that our customers’ feedback is a vital link to our continued growth and success. Additionally, we look forward to providing a pleasant travel experience on your next flight with US Airways.
