This is a good suggestion and you have an Hotel Catalonia on Plaça Espanya that is right next to the Aerobus station. The
Aerobus is the city's Airport Shuttle service that comes every 5 minutes and costs less than 6 EUR for a trip between the airport and the city (10 EUR round trip). As Koby mentioned, Plaça Espanya is the first stop from the airport, which means that when you catch the shuttle to head back to the airport, you won't have any stops and will arrive in about 15 minutes.
