Here's "seat map" (or room map, I suppose) of an Amtrak sleeper car:
Given the best views (apparently by a large margin) would be on the west facing side of the train (towards the ocean) is it a reasonable assumption that the sleeper is
normally oriented with the windows of the higher priced bedrooms (A-E) facing the ocean?
I'm currently booked in Room 3 on both directions for an upcoming SEA-LAX-SEA trip. I'd like to make sure that at least one of those directions has me pointing towards the water.
In a perfect world, I might want for both directions to be facing the ocean. But is there any reason why I might want the east/landward facing side of the train?
