Funny thread. I give my wife a summary of what cards for what and she follows this well.

She also applied for her first points-earning card earlier this month and wound up having to call the Chase reconsideration line (she's a PT teacher, so not much independent income). She got the card but did not enjoy the experience. We'll see how this impacts her going forward...
