On the other hand.... AR in long haul international is another story. Im blessed to have not been on AR for over 20 years now (on international routes) but the horror stories you hear make it a no brainer to avoid them like the Plague.
Must admit I've managed to avoid flying with AR altogether due to other carriers flying on the routes I've been on.
I would use them on short haul were they the only option available but never on long haul. If they were a European carrier they would have been out of the game by now.
