K to Q-up spread is $375 one-way by the way. Close to your original offer. So your every-seat-must-go $99 offer is a great non-elite one
Yes. It was the noon flight.

A mildly curious thing happened at the gate though. At 11:30 or so, the GA calls for preboarding for pax with disabilities and Global Services members. About five people preboarded, none of whom were disabled. None were military in uniform. None had a stereotypical military appearance to them, not that that means much. None appeared to be airline crew in uniform. A mother and child were together but the others were solo.

I figured with it being a lightly-loaded flight, it was just random people with Premier Access boarding, so I get in line behind them with my F boarding pass. When I reach the agent, she says "We're not boarding F yet."

So then I think to myself "OK, those five are GS, so they must be the other five occupants of F." 10 seconds later, the agent calls F boarding, lets me proceed...but all five of those people were somewhere back in Y.

I board, and five F pax board with me to fill the cabin.

So who were those five people that the agent willingly allowed to preboard before me?
