Although I have no comparison to offer, we just returned from a stay at the Grand Hyatt and were delighted with it. We booked through FHP and got a lovely upgrade, complimentary buffet dinner and late check out. The staff was upbeat and professional and we were surprised at how personal the service was given the size of the hotel. They are still working on the first phase of the renovation, but our "old" room was very nice, quiet and had great views. The club lounge is still in a temporary location on the 2nd floor, but they do a decent job with it.
