Avoid a 'ofest museum', Schneiderweisse, Augustiner Bierhalle, Löwenbräukeller etc are more authentic, although normal locals work till 6pm and won't show up there till about 7pm, so you'll be among tourists till then anyway. Airbräu's own brewery is undergoing refits and they are not serving their own products till summer....@:-)
