I've been looking at Bali recently. I first went there in the late 1980s and stayed at Amandari in the first six months of its operation. That was life-changing, as you can imagine. I went back a few times, and to Amankila in its earliest months.

So in January next year I am on a cruise which terminates in Bali. And guess what I'm doing. I'm taking the first flight out to Hong Kong for four nights at the FS. That's what I think about Bali these days
