I have just hiked the kilometer from the RS lounge at SIN to D49 for my taxi to BKK. The lounge isn't even as good as the international one at CNX - very limited food and beverage choice, not much room, and the usual internet tedium with the password. It's free here @ gate D49 and works better.

Can't the lounge at least be moderately adjacent to the actual gate, or more feasibly, the other way around? Or do SQ and Changi management deliberately fend off TG like Aer Rianta does to FR at DUB, sentencing them to the furthest gates and most inconvenient facility locations?
I used to think that SQ and Changi would give pref to SQ, but I'm not that cynical anymore (just gullible!)...

It's hit and miss in my experience, sometimes it's super close to gate (by the smoking area in T1) sometimes it's in Narnia.

It's nearly as frustrating as being bussed to arrivals at BKK when in fact you need to walk 800m back to the transfer area
