I'm trying to redeem a Megabonus category 1-4 e-cert for a night at the Northampton Marriott Hotel,

Using Rewards e-Certificate for Free Nights instructions (which I've previously used successfully for other properties), Marriott.com doesn't present the e-cert redemption option. I called in to Marriott Rewards and was told this hotel is not available. ("Some hotels don't participate.")

MegaBonus T&C's, I see a potential basis for some hotels to opt out:
An earned free night award can be redeemed for a future stay at participating Marriott Rewards category 1-4 properties for one (1) free night.

But, then again, a subsequent provision seems to indicate that participation is quite broad:
Participating brands include JW Marriott®, EDITION®, Autograph Collection® Hotels, Renaissance® Hotels, AC Hotels by MarriottSM, Marriott® Hotels & Resorts, Gaylord Hotels®, Courtyard by Marriott®, SpringHill Suites by Marriott®, Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott®, Residence Inn by Marriott®, TownePlace Suites by Marriott® and Marriott Vacation Club.
Is there any way to confirm what properties are excluded? A list somewhere?
