The front desk, seems to have high turnover, but they were pleasant. I was able to get the Resort Fee taken off, by just asking.
The grounds at this property are excellent. The lounge was one of the best lounges in the States. Excellent selections for evening services. Beef, Shrimp, Kebabs, enough food to not need Dinner.
Overall I enjoyed this property, If I was going back for Disney, I would probably stay on Disney Grounds instead, just for convenience. But, I loved this property, and they treated us great!

If you enjoyed it the way it is now, about 10 years ago you would have adored it. I was there 3-4 times a year. The new GM ruined the place, and yes, I've given it multiple chances.
But we really should be discussing the property in the appropriate thread. I was just giving an overview.
The designated suite upgrade was described by two attendants and customer service rep to be the executive suite. The reservation is fully cancellable, but I sort of wish that we were staying at the Grand Cypress next week when we check in.. but Floridays where I booked this year we've got a nice 3 bedroom condo, granite kitchen, living room and dining room. Plus they were rated #1 on tripadvisor, currently #3 last I checked. Plus I got 65% off, and the hotel is fully sold out for my dates. Staying there 3 weeks this time as well.
The Grand Cypress looks to be an amazing place for my little kiddies to hang out.. Suite/lounge, benefits, as soon as my flights can be booked 330 days out, my finger is pressing the button and burning another 100,000 aeroplan miles. Just booked Disneyland/Hawaii this summer for 180,000 miles for 4 tickets, and still got half mil left to burn..
