Contact Amex!
Hi - I am head of household with 2 family members. It doesn't work for me.
However I just contacted Amex sending a secure online message and got a very encouraging response. They said they would take it up with BA.
If you are having problems with redeeming yur companion ticket please message Amex. between we can sort this.
