I have had good luck in store at Home Depot and Lowe's in their clearance or yellow tag section, but you need to know the merchandise and what it will sell for online. Usually I go for plumbing fixtures from Kohler, Delta, or another non-private label brand. It has to be still in the box, and at least 50-75% off regular price (not list price) to have a chance at selling it for at least break even when you factor in the commission and the fact that you never really recoup all of the shipping costs. Ebay sells faster but for less money and more potential headaches, Amazon is more secure for the seller, but they can sit for a really long time. I have only really done this to make money, and not so much for the points.
