You can buy things below selling cost, but the selling high fees on Ebay or Amazon usaully kill it. Craigslist is an option, but you have the hassle of dealing with people who don't mind wasting your time when they are only willing to pay 1/2 price.....time and hassle like MVF Trekker said. Posting high dollar items on Craigslist would also open you up to potential crime.
Another concern with eBay and Amazon is returns - if a buyer is not happy with the product, or there is a quality issue, both tend to be VERY pro buyer, will force you to take the product back, one big hit could more than wipe out any potential gain.
