I just had some rather complicated changes to a ticket that require the ticket to be re-issued (done on the phone with Bremen). Flight departs in 26 hours, it is already in that stage just before the 24h window where status-based pre-seat selection is no longer available, and for obvious reasons online check in will not work if the ticket is not re-issued by that time.

Does anybody know how long it takes BA to re-issue a ticket changed over the phone? Flight seems pretty full, and I don't think my body is capable of sitting in those middle seats anymore... *



* yes, I know, thousands of people do it every day...
