Seems strange that they tag him in the headline as a former concorde pilot, rather than a former BA executive director, and only add his time as a senior BA exec at the very end.
His employement as a BA director is much more relevant to the story in question, both because of his experience at the top end of an Airline whose centre of operations is @ Heathrow, and also with it being BA, he has a clear allignment with BA thoughts, i.e. extend heathrows operational ability.
I suppose "former BA senior exec plots longer heathrow runways" wouldn't engender the same story interest, even though its more appropriate.
