ok, that's no big deal, but in the fine print it says
* Promotion is not transferable. In order to qualify for this offer, the account must be open and current. If your account is closed for any reason, including if you convert to another product, you may no longer be eligible. With this offer, you will earn 300 American Airlines AAdvantageŽ bonus miles after enrollment in Paperless Statements. The promotion will end on 3/31/13. The AAdvantageŽ bonus miles will appear as a bonus in your AAdvantageŽ account 8-10 weeks following enrollment in Paperless Statements.
The American Airlines AAdvantageŽ bonus miles you receive as part of this program may be reported to the IRS as miscellaneous income on Form 1099-MISC, as required by applicable law. Customer is responsible for any taxes.
never noticed the 1099 stipulation on CC deals before.
