The dividers in UC are a little high to allow normal conversation and cannot be lowered like in BA CW. There are footstools for each passenger which can double up as seats for a companion to sit on for a chat (unlike BA CW) - but not the most comfortable for any period of time.
Alternatively you can have seats opposite each other, but other passengers may not appreciate you talking across the aisle. Why not go to the UC bar on board and chat there with a glass of bubbly in hand? Far more comfortable!
