I would be surprised if VIP is that much faster than the city bus after stopping at all the hotels to pick people up. Sure, it is probably a straight shot once you make your rounds as opposed to the city bus which has to stop all along the way and I would guess it would be longer but doubt it is 2 hours as mentioned on the VIP web site. I dont think you can go wrong with either option but would probably opt for the bus personally.
