Well it seems that QF Silver trumps AA EXP when desirable seats are on offer, so perhaps QF is worth something after all
I dont think so; I think that all that will have happened is that the other person happened to either be there as it was available or spoke to someone more able to get it done
I doubt very much that it was due to the silver status being "better" than emerald status
