Days of week and time make a difference. There's also Mova off Lincoln. This time of year I enjoy sitting outside of Score and having a drink and people watching. A lot of gay nightlife has moved to Lauderdale, but the usual places are still there (Score, Twist, Palace).

Fort Lauderdale tends to draw an older crowd than Sobe as well.
