We just stayed here on a paid stay, used SNA to upgrade to a junior suite. Hotel has that old classic palace feel with modern updates. The suite had a Bang and Olufsen TV

Like other FT members have reported, butler was nowhere to be found, no introductions. On the other hand the concierge was extremely helpful in securing us some last minute sold out event tickets! Was very impressed and grateful.

People report that you can get some cold bottles of water from the gym on the 5th floor beyond the spa, however I was scolded once by the lady manning the entrance for coming up just for water. She did get me two cold bottles anyways , but be aware.
