Followup results re my post #5192
Week ago applied for both TY Pref (with 5x certain cats for 1st 12 mos) and the AA Amex (prev approved 22 mos ago, canceled yr ago). Got app IDs on each and message said to call in for immed consideration. Wanted TY Pref more so called on that one first. Approved, after canceling one of my existing Citi cards and shifting that CL (plus new add'l CL) to new TY Pref. Told now at max CL ($75k) Citi allows any one person to have across all cards, so I did not mention AA Amex app. Called back on AA Amex now; put on hold while CSR looked into approving; then told cannot approve as I had already gotten approved for the TY card on same day applied for this, and can only get 1 card no matter how many apps make that day. Even worse, I got 2 pulls from Citi.
