My wife has no status. I am BA Emerald. I don't know whether our itineraries were linked, though they were booked by the same TA. Our TA had reserved 20A, B, which was fine and are valid seats on both the new and old 380s. I really don't understand why Qantas separated us. What's the point of being able to reserve seats if they can be un-reserved for no reason (no problem if there is an equipment change or whatever).
