As you probably know, the companion's birthdate is not stored (why? who knows) and you have to enter the "how can we contact you" field.
However, based on my experience (especially at this late hour), wait until tomorrow and try again. If you cannot wait, call WN.
I hate this. I am my own companion. It is my birth date and I have to add it and my text number that they never call. Then it asks me if I want EBCI. It takes longer to buy the CP seat than the first one.
My companion's DOB seems to be stored. I've never had to enter it and when I select "add a companion" the DOB field is completed and cannot be changed under the "Who's Flying?" section. But, my companion's RR # is also associated with my designated companion; so, maybe it pulls from my designated companion's RR account and that is why I don't have to enter it.
I do, however, have to enter the "how can we get a hold of you?" field (which is usually auto-completed once I select the method.
