I don't know about exotic, but there are some small towns / villages near Rio that are LOVELY!!! Buzios comes to my mind. The weather in November is quite good. Some rain but also many gorgeous sunny days.

I would also recommend beach destinations in Croatia (in or around Dubrovnik) or Greece (Santorini/Mykonos), which are not big cities and feel more quaint but not necessarily exotic. Unfortunately, these Mediterranean destinations have cooled off too much for my preference by October/November. The use of SWU would not be very productive for these either (final intra-european legs are on non-AA metal)
