Just went to check it online to remind my husband of the rate and the reservation details have changed (rate has stayed the same)

Our rate is $243 a night for a larger oceanfront room with a balcony with either package.

In the long run, do you think I should screenshot the new package (I actually already did) and try to keep this new package? Is it now a better deal? We wanted the rental car but knew they could play the availability card.
