Save for some cosmetic changes to the front, I believe that the only change in 2.0 in terms of layout is that the front inner pocket is no longer 2 parts, but one large part. I actually found the divided portion useful. Edited to add: nowhere on the German site or on koffer-direkt do I see that it mentions the expandable option on 1.0 and the photos are not clear if it still has that very useful feature.
