I'm actually doing a MR to HNL today on a UA ticket but all US metal and I got upgraded at check in for the 'domestic' leg to PHX. I'm not pushing the PHX-HNL segment yet but I'll ask when I get to PHX. I know my segment tomorrow morning from PHX-EWR is sold out in FC but I was told that I can do standby for that segment.

Also, when I checked in with the upgrade my itin went out of sync so I couldn't change my upgrade seat online but I was happy to have the upgrade and didn't call to mess anything up.
