We are moving to Atlanta and need to find temporary housing in Alpharetta, Georgia. We're leaning towards the Homewood suites by Hilton mainly b/c they offer breakfast/dinner & have a separate bedroom/kitchen area. We're also already gold members with Hilton.
So far, the best deal that I can find is $70/day. Is there a way to get this price down some? Any suggestions for maximizing points/free nights and those kind of things?
If there's a better deal with another chain, that's fine as well. Ideally, we want to get the price per day under $50 (with breakfast provided) if possible without having bed bugs as companions.
For a month long stay, don't rely on the rates you can find online. Use those as a starting point, but then call the hotel directly (not the national 800 number) and ask for the sales manager. For extended stays, they will often be willing to offer a better rate and/or negotiate.
