Scotty, I am going to say somethings in this post which you are not going to like and which may well get you angry. I am not doing this because I don't like you, I am doing it because I do like you and I think it is very important for you to understand something.
I was going to write this in a PM but decided to post it in the forum instead in case anyone else wants to either give a different opinion or to confirm mine.
You very often talk about your rights -- I remember one time when you were very angry with someone from your family (your uncle?) who bought you a ticket on Southwest when you felt it was your right to fly on Delta.
You are going to run into many problems in life if you don't also think of the rights of other people. In fact, many times we have to put their rights ahead of our own.
Yesterday you posted this:

Today, you tell us that this very same brother had a cancerous tumor removed.
When you were telling him about your right to fly into ZRH, did you at all think of what he was going through at that moment? He knew that the very next day he would be having a cancer operation and he was undoubtedly very upset and probably frightened (even if he did not show it).
He must be a remarkable man if, in that situation, he agreed to drive at all -- much less all the distance between Basel and Zurich and the very last thing he needed was to hear you argue that you have the right to fly into whatever airport you want.
You have to learn to take others into consideration. If someone is paying for your air fare, you should not complain because he didn't buy you a ticket on your preferred airline. If someone is facing a serious operation and is unhappy about a long drive, you should put his feelings first and not complain because you like one airport better than the other.
