for your YYZ-BKK, you would use MPM5 PA (since you are going via Pacific)
for your BKK-LAS, you would use MPM5 AT (since you are going via Atlantic)
Its each way mileage. so YYZ-SFO-PVG-BKK must be <10874
you can check if for example BKK-PVG-CDG-EWR-LAS-YYZ would be under 12495, but I doubt it, hence backtracking thru LAS would not be allowed
