Hi all - not sure if this is in the right place [mods, please move as needed].

Which do you feel is the better alliance, *A or oneworld, and why? I am currently FF with USAirways' program, which is *A. With the US-AA merger pending, and AA being part of oneworld, that will default me into the combined AA-oneworld program. I've liked *A and much of my current travel is NA and UK. Don't really get too far or often to other regions. I'm wondering if I should jump to another *A partner (UA), or move/stay to the combined AA plan whenever that comes to pass? I chose US because for my home town it was the only option for a long time. I've stayed with US even when UA came to town (as CO), and later Delta.
