Segovia, small but very interesting town in Spain

Segovia – a historical town in Spain, 90 km from Madrid. The town is extremely interesting. There is a huge Roman Aqueduct right in the center connecting lower part of the city with the upper part. It’s so nice to walk along the Aqueduct starting from a couple of stones in the outskirts of Segovia slowly watching it becoming taller and taller until you cannot capture it with the camera anymore no matter how wide angle do you use. So huge it is.

When you continue walking along the Aqueduct and go up the stairs to the upper part of the city where this Aqueduct many hundred years ago was bringing water you’ll go out to a beautiful square with a cathedral and nice little cafes all around. Walking further you’ll get to a fantastic castle (Alcazar) standing on a cliff. Yes, it’s real and yes, all of those incredible landmarks are situated just in one pretty small town. The town of Segovia.
